LIVING ROOM: A CONTEMPORARY STYLE WITH SOFT TONES

If you feel like your living room is your own personal temple, then you this project is for you!

Living room for those who love contemporary style with soft tones.

Carolina Freyre
created this beautiful living room in this home called THESIS RESIDENCES and we are completely in love with this project! But before we talk about them, let’s get to know a little bit about this incredible interior designer?

It was through her grandmother that Carolina Freyre got her first memories of drawing. A few years later, Carolina was taken on adventures across the country and abroad thanks to her college and post-graduate studies. She has always been interested in music, art architecture and the people around her.

With her love of travel, culture and art, Carolina entered the world of interior design. After a few years as project manager for a Miami-based design firm, she then decided to open her own interior design firm. Regardless of the style, Carolina’s projects are always collected and carefully curated.

Now that we know a bit more about this incredible interior design, how about creating a living room inspired by this design? Let’s go!

Florence Center Tableby Caffe Latte, features a custom Estremoz marble table top. The blue velvet upholstered body creates a rich contrast with the polished brass base, enhancing the juxtaposition of the two vibrant materials. Only 50 cm high, Florence is the perfect center table to use in elegant hotel common areas and lobbies, as well as in more private areas, such as your own modern living room.

Siphon Modular Sofa, just like the coffee machine, this sofa is composed of several modules, capable of creating new design experiences with every possible combination. With a clean design and defined angles, this sofa is the perfect addition to an open space living room or even a hotel lobby. A sofa rich in flavor and full of neutral beauty.

The Sami are indigenous people who inhabited the Arctic area of Sápmi. The traditional Sami livelihood included coastal fishing, fur trapping, sheep herding and, what they knew best, the semi-nomadic reindeer herding. This is the basis for the creation of the SAMI rug: the unique lifestyle of strength and resilience in the cold snow, brought by the clear spotted and textured patterns in hand-knotted thin wool. This rug will certainly make your living room more powerful!
